Institute at a Glance | Full Schedule

Our theme this year is “Out and Authentic.” Think of all of the ways you are trying to be out and authentic. Is it on the job? In your community? On the job market? Our myriad intersecting identities are at play in all of these spaces.

This two-day leadership institute has three main learning goals:
1) building self-knowledge of leadership, with attention to the ways identities influence choices and approaches to leadership;
2) building contextual knowledge of leadership, with attention paid to current challenges and crises in higher education and the lgbtq+ community; and
3) career development, with opportunities for participants to network, meet with mentors, and plan their career paths.

The institute includes a robust mentoring portion. Participants have the opportunity to request a mentor (or volunteer to be a mentor) upon registration.

Information on invited speakers is below. More schedule information is here, subject to change.
