The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Executive Director, Board committees, and volunteers to design and deliver professional development programs for members, virtually and in person. The Program Coordinator will focus on mentorship, webinars, and the Leadership Institute. This is a remote, contracted position, budgeted for ten hours per week with the potential for an additional ten hours (up to 20) pending funding.

Major responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to implement program goals as established in the 2025-27 Strategic Plan
  • Manage volunteers and program committees
  • Ensure ongoing program effectiveness
  • Work with existing systems to plan, promote, and execute programs
    • Manage and expand mentorship program
    • Coordinate planning for Leadership Institute in October 2025
    • Coordinate webinar series

Key capabilities

  • Knowledge and experience working in a higher education setting
  • Knowledge of and experience with professional development programs, including mentorship and leadership development
  • Experience with webinars or large virtual meetings
  • Experience with virtual meeting and program registration platforms (Zoom, Eventbrite, Whova)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
